UPSAI tried to start a possible livelihood project for women. In connection with Women's Training and Women Organizing, UPSAI organized a core group which consists of 7 members. These women participated the Women's Training this year. Asian Bridge Philippines invited a Korean Trainer, Choi Hyeyoung ("PENG"), she is the one who teaches the core group about the advocacy of this pad and marketing strategy. The training was finished last week and the core group started to sell these pads and visited one section of Public High School in Southville for information dissemination and awareness raising. We are looking forward to push through this project for women and particularly for mothers...
